Jeow Mak Keua
Jeow Mak Keua was selected to be part of an interactive online exhibition for Lao New Queer 2023. It is a round eggplant used in making the Lao dish called "Jeow Mak Keua". I chose this dish to represent queerness, celebration and freedom through vibrant colors. The eggplant lives in a world full of fruits, vegetables, beans and roots. It represents my queer identity.
