The small nisse, usually part of scandinavian christmas folklore, became one of the subversive symbols against the occupation of norway by fascist germany in 1940. With the rise of anti-semitic, anti-muslim and inhumane extreme right politics we should all remember that "Never Again" is Now and will never not be relevant.
