Pamela Sustaita



PAMELA SUSTAITA (CDMX, México 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work is mainly focused in the study of identity, gender, alienation, violence, childhood and cuteness; creating a speach through the creation of tiny compulsive worlds that remit both the oneiric and the nightmare alluding to the intersection between the real and the fantastic.

Among her influences are the work of Henry Darger, Mike Kelley and Pettibone as well as her obession with the japanese culture, child’s art, the Art Brut movement and her mexican roots.

She completed her Bachelor degree in plastic and visual arts at Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado, La Esmeralda in 2014-2018 and her bachelor degree in fashion and creation ad Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Moda, Casa de Francia.
